Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is looking serious to complete the preparations for the municipal elections. Therefore, Mamata held a meeting with party leaders on Friday in Trinamool Bhavan on this matter. During this, she discussed the strategy of the upcoming election in detail with the leaders and instructed them to become active at the local level. She also made it clear that the workers at the ground level to get tickets in the elections

Along with the district presidents, supervisors were also present in this meeting. According to sources, in the meeting, Mamata instructed the district presidents and supervisors that there should not be any factionalism or skirmish between the tickets.

She further said that the opposing party, especially the BJP, will definitely try to create controversy, but there is no need to pay attention to it. She said- 'We are all party workers and all love the party, so everyone has to accept the party's decision. The next political programs to determine the electoral strategy was also discussed in detail in the meeting. Trinamool General Secretary and State Education Minister Partha Chatterjee, who met the media personnel after the meeting, said that on February 5, the opposition of the Citizenship Amendment Act and the National Civil Register by making a human chain at the block level on behalf of the party opposes this law. On February 6, party workers will take out a silent procession with anti-CAANRC placards in their hands.
