Indore: Preparations have begun in Indore for the vaccination of children starting from January 3, 2021. Children born before 1st January, 2007 will be vaccinated against corona in schools itself. Online registration for the same will start from January 1. Registration facility will also be available in the school. The children will be vaccinated. After 28 days of the first vaccination, the children will be able to get the second vaccine.

The same district immunization nodal officer Dr Tarun Gupta said an online meeting was also held from Bhopal in this regard on Tuesday. InDore district has about 2.25 lakh children studying in 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th standards. These children will be vaccinated in the school itself. Children in the age group of 15 to 18 years who do not go to school will be vaccinated by camping.

Dr. Gupta also informed that there are 907 schools in Indore district. Out of these, 147 are official. Classters of 10-10, 12-12 schools will be set up for vaccination. Children studying in these schools will be able to get vaccinated by visiting the identified school. The first will be able to get the second vaccine 28 days after vaccination.
