Beijing: The daily cases of corona have reached their highest level in China. According to the National Health Bureau, a total of 31,454 corona cases have been registered in China in the last 24 hours. Four days ago i.e. on 20 November, 26,824 patients were found. So far three people have lost their lives due to corona infection in Beijing in six months. A strict zero covid policy is applicable in China. The entire country is making relentless efforts to prevent the spread of the infection amid lockdown, mass testing, and travel restrictions.

Health officials have urged 3.5 million residents of Chaoyang to stay at home. More than 1,400 cases had been recorded in Beijing on Monday, with 783 reported in Chaoyang alone. This is the first time Beijing has reported more than 1,000 new cases a day since the epidemic began in late 2019.
