In 2003, Chris Pine made his television debut in the episode of the American medical drama television series "ER" titled "A Thousand Cranes." He later made his big-screen debut in Garry Marshall's 2004 American romance comedy "The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement." The movie managed to become a respectable commercial success while earning a muted response from reviewers. He appeared in movies including "Confession" (2005), "Just My Luck" (2006), "Blind Dating" (2006), and "Bottle Shock" after making his acting debut (2008). In the American science fiction action movie "Star Trek," directed by J. J. Abrams, he played James T. Kirk in 2009. The eleventh entry in the "Star Trek film series" was both critically and financially successful. 

For his work in the movie, Pine was nominated for a number of honours, including two "MTV Movie Award" nods. He had an appearance in Tony Scott's American action movie "Unstoppable" the following year. The movie received favourable reviews from critics and received an 87% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

People Like Us (2012): On the day his latest deal collapses, fast-talking-salesman Sam (Chris Pine) receives the news that his father has died. Reluctantly, Sam returns home to settle the estate of his father. In the course of carrying out the man's last wishes, Sam is surprised to learn of the existence of a 30-year-old sister, named Frankie (Elizabeth Banks). As the sister and brother get to know each other, Sam must re-examine both his perceptions about his family and the life choices that he has made.

Wonder Woman (2017): Wonder Woman is a 2017 superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name. Produced by Warner Bros. Pictures, Atlas Entertainment and Cruel and Unusual Films, and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, it is the fourth instalment of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), the first film of the Wonder Woman trilogy within the shared universe, and a prequel/spin-off to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
