Lucknow: For the past few days, violence and protests took place across the country including UP, Delhi and Bihar on Saturday against the Citizenship Amendment Act. Rampur, Kanpur and Muzaffarnagar of UP are the most scorched in the fire of protest. In Rampur where one person was killed during violent demonstrations. At the same time, in Kanpur, the miscreants entered a police post and set the vehicles on fire. Internet in 21 districts of UP remained closed till 12 noon on Saturday, while in 15 districts including Lucknow, Internet and SMS services would be closed till Monday. The bodies of two have been found in Firozabad and one in Meerut. With this, the death toll in UP violence increased to 17. At the same time, during the violent demonstrations at many places during the bandh called by the RJD in Bihar, the national highway was blocked and trains were stopped.

According to the information, it has been learned that RJD workers set fire to Patna and Hajipur. In Phulwari Sharif, Patna, 13 people were shot dead in a clash between two groups. Tejashwi Yadav took to the road in support of the bandh. At the same time, students of Jamia Millia Islamia University in Delhi demonstrated outside the gate.

It is also being said that a group of students of Jadavpur and Presidency University in Kolkata, West Bengal, demonstrated. People also took to the streets in Mumbai in Maharashtra and Chennai in Tamil Nadu. The women performed at Haldwani in Uttarakhand and Latasil Playground in Guwahati, Assam. At the same time, in the demonstrations so far, the property worth Rs 88 crore has been damaged.
