In India's Modi government, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has shown a mirror to those opposing the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). He said that such people are trying to hide the mountain of truth from the thickets of lies.
Addressing a press conference in his statement, Naqvi said, "Some people are spreading confusion over CAA, NRC and NPR in a section of society due to petty political interests. Under no circumstances will the CAA be withdrawn. There is no threat to the citizenship of Indian Muslims through CAA, NRC or any law.
Apart from this, the Union Minister said that the Narendra Modi government is taking steps towards development without any discrimination. PM Modi has clarified that CAA has been brought to grant citizenship, not to take away citizenship. Naqvi clarified that even after CAA, Muslims from other countries apply for citizenship of India like the earlier process Will be able to do it. The same, Naqvi said that Pakistan is hell for minorities, while India is heaven. This truth is not acceptable to the divisive forces and they have set out to weaken the country. The Union Minister also said that Muslims live in India not because of any compulsion, but because of their commitment to nationalism. The Muslims here are not helpless, but they are happy.
