Railway has suffered a financial loss of 100 crores in the violence that took place during the statewide protest over the Citizenship Amendment Act passed by the Parliament. To compensate for this loss, Railways will file a lawsuit against the state government in court.

According to railway sources, it is the responsibility of the state government to maintain law and order. If the agitators were stopped on the way, they would not be able to reach the railway tracks or stations and the attack would not have happened.
