According to Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Bevsky of the People's Militia of the DPR the majority of Seversk is already under the control of allied forces. Bevsky claims that much of the city has already been cleared, that all access roads are under control, and that all supply chains have been halted.

Russia's Allied forces and the DPR are said to have been under operational control of Seversk on the same day. This implies that the enemy can be hit with concentrated fire from anywhere in the vicinity, as Bezsonov pointed out.
