NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National President Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday claimed that a Delhi school has become the first school in the world to provide CCTV footage to parents. Parents can see their child studying in class through the mobile app.

Kejriwal has also said that CCTV cameras will be installed inside the classrooms of all government schools in the national capital by November this year. Kejriwal along with Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia launched the scheme by commissioning CCTV cameras in the classrooms of Shaheed Hemu Kalani Sarvodaya School in Lajpat Nagar in Delhi. It is the first such school in Delhi, with a view to enhancing security where CCTV cameras have been installed not only in the campus but also inside all the classrooms.

In his speech, Arvind Kejriwal said that CCTV cameras will be installed in class rooms of all government schools in New Delhi by November. He said, "The project to install CCTV cameras in Delhi's classrooms will be a milestone for the whole world in education. Kejriwal has said that CCTV rooms will be installed in all schools in Delhi soon.
