Jaipur: The Entrance Exam, JEE Main has started at 19 centres in Rajasthan from Tuesday. About 45 thousand students of the state are taking part in this exam to be held between 9 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 6 pm till 6 September. The examinees and their guardians started arriving at the 19 examination centres in 9 districts of the state since morning.

On the first day, Tuesday, there is a BIRC and B-planning examination and the candidates were very excited about it. For the JEE Main, a day before, Ashok Gehlot government of the state announced huge relief for the candidates and gave them free travel in roadways buses. The lockdown was not announced in the state for the candidates and their parents.

CM Ashok Gehlot has provided many facilities and relief for the problems of NEET and JEE Main exam candidates. On the instructions of CM Gehlot, the Home Department has issued orders in this regard. In this regard, Home Department Principal Secretary, Abhay Kumar said that the lockdown in the state will not be considered applicable for JEE and NEET candidates and their parents. He said that for students of NEET and JEE and their parents, hard or soft copy of admit card will be considered as valid pass.
