Mumbai: Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has received death threats, after which the Marine Drive Police of Mumbai has registered an FIR. A case has been registered in this case on 15 October. A letter has been received by the chamber officer of Maharashtra's home ministry, which states that BJP is acting to pressure the leaders of the other party by showing fear of ED and CBI.

This letter came from a village in Loha taluka of Nanded. On receiving this threatening letter, the information has been given to the local police, after which the Marine Drive Police has registered a case under Section 506 of the IPC and started an investigation. It is written in the letter that, 'You are showing the fear of ED and CBI to the leaders and you are also making a transfer by greed, you have broken many parties, which I have not liked. We are facing a recession due to wrong policies.

It is further written in the letter that if anyone in your village is seen carrying the flag of your party or showing any fear of ED or CBI, I will enter the ministry and make an encounter. After this threatening letter, the Mumbai Police has registered an FIR in the Marine Drive Police Station and started further investigation.
