Dehradun: CM Pushkar Singh Dhami and Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar performed Ganga Aarti at Harki Padi. CM and Sri Sri Ravinshkar appreciated the beautification work done on Harki Padi from the CSR Fund on behalf of Sony Company. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that passengers will also be able to travel to the city by rail for the 'Do Dham Yatra' at Devbhoomi.

He said that the work on the Rishikesh-Karanprayag railway line will be completed by 2024. Before reaching Harki Padi, the CM reached Jagadguru Ashram, who was present in Kankhal, and met Sharda Peethadheeshwar Shankaracharya Swami Rajarajeshwarashram Maharaj and sought his blessings. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Sony company officer Sanjay Bhatnagar attended the function at Harki Padi to mark the completion of the Harki Padi development project and its handing over to Sriganga Sabha. The Sony company has taken up two reception gates at Harki Padi from CSR fund, designing of murals of the origin of the Ganga, provision of shoe stand for pilgrims, renovation of Ganga sabha room among many other works.  

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that in the first cabinet meeting of his second term, the proposal for a civil uniform code in the state was unanimously approved. Now a committee of experts will be formed to implement it, which will also include retired judges of the Supreme Court. He said that its draft will be made soon. He said that his government is engaged in making Devbhoomi a better state.
