Patna: There was a lot of uproar in the winter session of the Bihar Assembly on Wednesday when the Bharatiya Janata Party raised the issue of deaths due to poisonous liquor in the House. After this, Nitish Kumar got angry and called the BJP MLAs alcoholics.

Nitish Kumar stood in his seat and started saying that you are the people who are alcohol and are selling liquor. You are alcoholics. It will no longer be tolerated. Then, the CM got up and left. Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs came down in the well and raised a lot of slogans against the CM. The Speaker asked them to remain calm but it had no effect on the Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs.

The Bharatiya Janata Party termed the CM's language as indecent and demanded an apology from the Chief Minister. However, on this demand, the ruling party MLAs got angry. The Speaker told the Leader of the Opposition that if you make your members sit on the seat, then you will be given an opportunity to speak. The Speaker said that what the Leader of the opposition is saying will not become part of the proceedings.
