The next of kin of the deceased have been ordered to pay Rs 5 lakh immediately. The officers were advised by the Chief Minister to work generously in the affected areas from a humanitarian point of view. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy holds post-cyclone Gulab review meeting via video conference. Collectors and officials from Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna and Guntur districts participated in the review meeting. CS Adityanath Das briefed CM Jagan about the situation after the cyclone. On this occasion, CM Jagan said that as soon as the rains subside, the officials have been instructed to restore power on a war footing.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to provide quality food and provide good medical care and safe drinking water in the relief camps. CM instructed the officials to open relief camps wherever necessary. It was also suggested to set up medical camps in flood-affected areas and support families affected by water infiltration. He ordered financial assistance of Rs.1000/- for the victims to come out of the relief camps.

He ordered to calculate the damaged areas on a war footing. Damage assessment should be prepared immediately and steps should be taken to help the farmers. He directed the officials to alert the people in the coastal areas of Vandhara and Nagavali rivers. Vizianagaram Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, Visakhapatnam Minister Avanti Srinivas, Disaster Management Commissioner Kannababu, Deputy CM Dharmana Krishnadas and Srikakulam CS Adityanath Das participated in the review.
