CM Shivraj seeing floods in MP says, 'Never seen such scary scene in life before'

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh is witnessing a terrible course all these days. The situation here has now deteriorated due to rain and floods. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, CM, says he has never seen such a horrible scene in his life before. Describing the recent flood experience in the state, CM Shivraj said, "He went to the villages and witnessed the tragedy. He has never seen such a horrible scene before in his life. The houses were converted into debris due to floods.'' All these things were said by CM Shivraj during the virtual meeting.

"Thousands of houses were completely destroyed due to floods," he said at the meeting. The belongings of the houses were also destroyed. The food grains kept in the house were also soaked in water. Their animals have been swept away in the water. There are many families who have nothing left. They have lost everything in the floods. In addition, in the meeting, CM also said, "The state's infrastructure has been ruined due to natural calamities. Power poles, sub-station telecommunications, bridges, roads have all been destroyed.'' Further, CM also said, "It is only a matter of comfort that the rescue operation was started in time.''

He thanked the teams of NDRF, SDFR, Army, Police, and Administration for helping the people. Moreover, he said, "The result of all efforts is that no one has lost their lives due to floods. The first priority of the Government was to save lives. In which the Government has been successful. He said the Government Ministers are constantly engaged in relief and rescue operations. A task force has been constituted to deal with the flood situation. This includes people from 11 departments. Arrangements are being made to deliver food to the victims. If the situation is normal, the loss will be compensated by conducting a survey.''
