Mumbai: The corona epidemic has stirred up everyone massively across the country, with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray convening an urgent meeting on Thursday among rising corona cases in Maharashtra. The meeting was convened to discuss the conditions of corona in the state as well as for several other cases. CM attended the review meeting of the Department of Information Technology at 3 o'clock. Then, he attended the meeting on the MIDC Eco-Sensitive Zone at 3 o'clock. He will attend the International Tourism Centre at Worli at about 5.30 o'clock and the corona vaccination case in Maharashtra at 6 pm.

In Maharashtra, more than 23 thousand new cases of the corona were reported in the last 24 hours and 84 persons died. On the other hand, the team has said in its report that necessary steps are not being taken to prevent the spread of corona in the state. If this will the pace of the corona cases in Maharashtra, the situation will be worse. Meanwhile, the Maharashtra government has stepped up restrictions in several cities due to on going crisis. Today, Chief Minister Uddhav also held a meeting at Corona.

Two districts of Maharashtra, Nagpur, and Pune are going through the worst havoc of corona. In Nagpur, 3,370 new cases were reported on Wednesday and 16 persons died. Meanwhile, about 2500 cases were reported on Tuesday. The active cases have gone up to over 21 thousand. The lockdown has been imposed in Nagpur from 15th to 21st of March. But now the administration has decided that after 1 o'clock in the afternoon, all the shops including vegetables, ration, daily needs, meat will remain closed. Only medicine shops have been allowed to be opened.
