Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Friday (February 4) has filed his nomination from the Gorakhpur city seat. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was also present. Yogi Adityanath offered prayers at Gorakhnath temple before filing his nomination papers from the Gorakhpur city seat. After this, CM Yogi also addressed a public meeting with Amit Shah.

 

Before filing the nomination, the minister of state Sonam Kinnar along with her colleagues welcomed CM Yogi Adityanath in a grand manner with a crown and a garland. She had brought a 1.5 kg gold plate to make the chief minister tilak. During this time, she also prayed for CM Yogi's victory. The security was also kept very tight for CM Yogi's nomination in this high profile seat. The anti-terrorist squad was also present at the nomination office.

Addressing a public meeting ahead of his nomination, Adityanath said that during the five years in the state, the double engine government has tried to live up to everyone's expectations. Today, no political party in the state can do sin to the BJP's actions. At the same time, he said that all of us are getting the support of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and PM Modi.
