Lucknow: The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has started preparations for the Ganga Expressway on a war level. CM Yogi Adityanath has instructed all the concerned departments including UPDA to work in 'Mission Mode'. CM Yogi has said that up to 90 percent of the land should be acquired for this expressway in the next 6 months. In mid-June next year, after laying the foundation stone, construction work should be started after the monsoon.

While reviewing the preparations for the 'Ganga Expressway' at his government residence on Friday, CM Yogi has said that infrastructure development is a top priority of the state government. After Bundelkhand and Purvanchal Expressway, this 6 lane Ganga Expressway will give new identity to Uttar Pradesh. This can be increased to 8 lanes. This month, PM Modi is going to get the gift of a 6 lane expressway between Varanasi and Prayagraj to UP. They are the carriers of expressway development. With the creation of these express-veges, there will be a tremendous improvement in connectivity in Uttar Pradesh.

CM Yogi Adityanath has said that industrial clusters should be prepared in all the 12 districts connecting the Ganga Expressway. The state has an excellent environment for the development and investment of industries. Along with expressway construction, land should also be managed for the cluster.
