Hyderabad: MP from Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has advocated Muslim representation in Parliament and all legislatures. Attacking the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), he has said that Muslims should be represented in Parliament and all the assemblies.

Owaisi wrote in a tweet, 'Hindutva is based on the lie that only one community should have all political power and Muslims should not have any right to participate in politics. Our greater presence in Parliament and Legislative Assemblies will act as a challenge against the Hindutva Sangh, and if we can maintain our presence, we will celebrate.' Owaisi's statement has come at a time when his party has won five seats in Bihar Assembly.

This statement of Owaisi is also considered important because Muslim representation in the parliamentary elections has reduced, and his victory in the five seats of Bihar is being taken for many reasons. After winning five seats in the Bihar Assembly elections, it is being said that Owaisi's AIMIM has come out as a national-level party of Muslims. Party president Asaduddin Owaisi has emerged as the biggest leader of Muslims.
