Let us tell you all that according to the statement issued by the UP government on Friday, CM Yogi Adityanath has directed to provide free bus travel facilities for women in all categories of roadways buses on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

In fact, the state government spokesperson recently said, "This time Raksha Bandhan is falling in two days due to Panchak reasons. Due to this, this free facility will also be available to women for 2 days.'' The spokesperson said, "Free bus service will be available for women from 12 pm on August 10 to 12 pm on August 12." Let us tell you all that the spokesperson has clarified that this free facility includes all AC and non-AC buses running under UP Roadways.

This means that if women want, they will be able to travel free of cost in this period in government AC buses as well. At the same time, CM Yogi has instructed to tighten the security arrangements in public vehicles and places in view of Raksha Bandhan and August 15.
