Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has said that his government has never favoured on the basis of religion and the same benefits that Hindus are getting are also being given to Muslims. He said that both communities have benefited from the improvement in law and order. The daughters of Hindus are safe, so are the Muslim daughters.

CM Yogi Adityanath further said that Muslims account for 19 per cent of the state's population, but are availing 35 per cent benefits in many schemes. He also replied as to why the BJP has not given a ticket to a single Muslim candidate in the assembly elections. Why is there a sense of insecurity among the Muslim community about the Yogi government? In response, CM Yogi said, "Their (Muslims') arrogance and anarchy have stopped them. Otherwise, all the civilized and elite Muslim people who are associated with the society are happy with the work of the government.''

CM Yogi said that if the protection has been given to the Hindu daughter, then the Muslim daughter has also got it. The Hindu woman has got security, the Muslim woman has also been given security. Hindu traders are happy, so Muslim traders are also happy. All are guaranteed safety. There has been no favouritism on the issue of security and in the schemes of the government.

On not giving tickets to the Muslim candidate, CM Yogi said, "Samajwadi Party should take its contract, give ticket to every seat, who is stopping them. The chemistry of elections is based on trust, based on the application of people, decided on the equation of victory and defeat. It doesn't happen by what I say or what I gave.''
