Lucknow: Recently, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed to take strict action against the culprits in the crimes related to women, besides appointing a female nodal officer in every district and constantly monitoring the complaints of women. The government has taken a very serious stand regarding the Unnao case. Yogi also talked about making the Women's Power Line (1090) more effective. The Chief Minister also directed to get an early reign of bank robbery incidents, said that extra vigilance should be taken regarding the safety of the bank.

According to sources, it has been learned that the Chief Minister reviewed the law and order through video conferencing on Monday night. During this time, he gave strict instructions for the security of women especially. He said that every complaint of women should be viewed with utmost seriousness and prompt action should be ensured in it. Complaints related to women should be viewed with full sensitivity. The Chief Minister said that from the complaints coming on 112 and 1090 to the station level, immediate action should be taken in every case and no complaint should be kept pending. Instructions were also given for strict action against police officers and personnel who were negligent in such cases.

Jahan DGP OP Singh said that the Chief Minister has directed the appointment of a female nodal officer in every district for monitoring the complaints related to women. It was told that in every district, the deputy SP level officer is ready to appoint a nodal officer. It is worth mentioning that earlier instructions for expansion of 1090 were also given. The government appointed senior IPS officers as nodal officers of different districts and directed them to take action from crime control to other points.
