Madhya Pradesh: MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan recently said, "Cow dung and stubble will be used in the state and will produce CNG and bio-fertilizers. In one of his addresses last Sunday, he said, "Both cow dung and stubble are very useful and are being planned for the production of bio-CNG and organic solid and liquid fertilizers in Madhya Pradesh." He said all these things in a meeting with the officials of Bharat Biogas Energy Limited, Anand Gujarat at his residence. The Salaria go-sanctuary and Kamdhenu Raisen have been selected for this in the first phase.

The projects will be built and worked out through Bharat Biogas Energy Limited. Giving the example of Gujarat last Sunday, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, "Both are being successfully worked out in our neighbouring state of Gujarat. Madhya Pradesh will also work expeditiously in the field of CNG and bio-fertilizers production from Dung and Paroli. Chairman, Bharat Biogas, Bharat Patel said that Bharat Biogas will have a full plan of bio-CNG and bio-solid and liquid fertilizer at both these places, which will be run for three to five years. '

In the project presentation, Patel said, "70 metric tonnes of raw material per day in Salaria go-sanctuary, including cow dung, stubble, grass and rural waste, will produce about 3000 kg of bio-CNG per day. About 25 metric tonnes of solid organic fertilizer and about 7000 litres of liquid organic fertilizer will be produced daily. In addition, plantation of various species, bamboo plantation, dragon fruit plantation etc". CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, "At present, there are 4000 cow dynasty in Salaria cow-sanctuary, while the cow-sanctuary has a capacity of 10000 cows dynasty. The number will be increased in future. '
