Kolkata: The action of the CBI has increased the enthusiasts of the assembly elections in West Bengal. The scope of investigation in coal smuggling has reached the family of West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee. CBI will interrogate Rujira Narula, wife of Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee. The CBI team has reached Abhishek Banerjee's residence for questioning.

Earlier, CM Mamata Banerjee reached Abhishek Banerjee's residence and left after some time. As soon as Mamata Banerjee left Abhishek's house, the CBI team arrived. CBI will interrogate Abhishek's wife Rujira Narula. Sources said that Rujira will appear before the CBI for questioning. She is to be questioned as a witness. She has been asked to cooperate with the investigating agency in these investigations.

CBI had given notice to Rujira Banerjee on Sunday. On this, Rujira Narula Banerjee sent a letter to the CBI on Monday and asked the officials for questioning at the house on 23 February. Meanwhile, the CBI has also questioned MP and TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee's sister-in-law. The CBI team reached Abhishek Banerjee's sister-in-law Maneka Gambhir's house on Monday. It is being told that for nearly three hours, the CBI team questioned Maneka Gambhir.
