On Thursday, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has approved the Kilpest Lab of Bhopal in addition to MyLAb to manufacture test kits in India, which is suffering from the outbreak of Coronavirus. Under this, ICMR has recommended Kilpest (BlackBoy) company to make RT-PCR kit TRUPCR.

The Indian Council of Medical Research has previously come under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). The laboratories have been allowed to test the corona.

Apart from this, ICMR has advised DBT, DST, CSIR and DAE laboratories to strictly follow the guidelines of Kovid-19 before starting its test. In addition, ICMR will not provide diagnostic kits to these laboratories.
