Islamabad: Pakistan cricketer Asif Afridi has requested fans to pray for his daughter. Asif Afridi shared a picture in which his daughter is admitted to the hospital and is in a critical condition. Asif Afridi is yet to make his international debut, but he has been playing in domestic cricket for quite some time now.

Asif Afridi posted a picture of his daughter and fans and fellow cricketers also got emotional. Many cricketers, including Salman Butt, Umar Gul, have prayed for the safety of the child, as well as appealed to people to pray, while talking about Asif Afridi's cricketing career, he made his debut in domestic cricket in the year 2009. However, he could not make it to the international team. In the same year, Asif played for Multan Sultan in the Pakistan Super League 2022. 

Asif had taken 8 wickets in five matches and during this time his economy was less than 8. Recently, when the Australian team toured Pakistan, Asif was included as a back-up in the team, but he could not make it to the final XI. Now, the Pakistan team is currently playing a three-match series against the West Indies at home. The West Indies team has reached Multan, where all three matches are to be played.
