4 people arrested for attacking village people with acid, 23 undergoing treatment

Lucknow: People are disturbed by the increasing cases of crime. A sensational case of an acid attack has been reported in Uttar Pradesh. In a dispute over water filling in Basar village of Uldan police station area of Jhansi, people from one side started attacking the other side with acid, in which 23 people of the village got severely scorched.

The condition of 5 in the scorched people has been described as critical. There is chaos in the village after the incident. The officials reached Jhansi Medical College after receiving information and took cognizance of the incident. Late night in Basar village of Uldan police station area, there was a dispute between two parties over water, in which people of one side went to the roof of the house and started attacking the people of the other side with acid. About 23 people suffered serious injuries in this acid attack. Seeing this, there was a panic in the village.

According to the information received, all the scorched people in the incident have been admitted to the Community Health Center for treatment, in which the condition of 5 people is said to be critical. They have been admitted to Jhansi Medical College. Police officials who reached the spot said that "A case has been filed against 6 people for the incident. Out of which 4 people have been arrested, the rest is being searched and the investigation of the case is still going on".
