Hyderabad: In a review meeting of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) at Gandhi Bhawan here on Saturday, party leaders appointed in-charges for each mandal of the assembly constituency to oversee the prestigious election campaign activities. MLAs Sridhar Babu and Seethakka have been appointed in-charge of Jammikunta and Kamalapuram mandals, with Vijaya Raman Rao and Nayani Rajender as chief coordinators. MLA Jagga Reddy and former MLA Premsagar have been appointed for Huzurabad mandal.
Vem Narendra Reddy is in charge of Ilanthakunta and Jang Raghava Reddy is the chief coordinator and MLC Jeevan Reddy is in charge of Vinavanka mandal and Adi Srinivas is the chief coordinator. Speaking on the occasion, TPCC Working President Mahesh Kumar Gaur listed out the new appointments. Further he criticized that corruption was in full swing during the seven years of TRS rule.
"One party pushed the state into debt and the other party deprived the common man in the country of its benefits," he alleged. Mahesh Kumar said that the resolution passed by the state government for the census of BCs will be set aside by the TRS like they did for the proposals for tribal and minority reservations.
