Bhopal: The BJP and the Congress are at loggerheads in Madhya Pradesh over the Tiranga Abhiyan and Tiranga Samman Mahotsav at every house over the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Politics is gaining momentum over the free-handing and selling of flags. It reached its peak after Congress MLA Arif Masood announced to give flags to people for free and give pictures of great men on August 15. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched a scathing attack on the announcement of opposition leaders to distribute the tricolour free of cost. He said that it is not good to give flags for free. People should buy the tricolour from their blood and sweat earnings and put it at home.
CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Amrit Kaal is going on. PM Narendra Modi has called upon the nation. The tricolour will be hoisted in every house at the festival of Amrit Mahotsav. In Madhya Pradesh also, tricolour will be hoisted at every house. The campaign is scheduled to begin on August 13. It is worth mentioning that CM Shivraj also bought the national flag under the Tiranga Campaign at Every House. He also asked people whether they took the tricolour or not. The CM has appealed to the public to buy the flag from their own earnings. He took on those who distributed the flag for free.
CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached Bhopal's Number 10 Market on Thursday. She bought the tricolour being prepared by the Women's Self Group here and took a selfie on the Amrit Mahotsav. In fact, after the flag sales centre was opened at the BJP office, Congress MLA Arif Masood announced that he would give flags free of cost. This was the reason why the CM while describing those who gave free flags, urged the people to buy the flag with their hard-earned money and hoist them at home.
