New Delhi: The issue of PM Modi's security lapse in the Ferozepur district of Punjab on Wednesday is gaining political colour. BJP leaders are calling it a Conspiracy of the Congress. Congress leaders have come to the rescue of the Channi government in Punjab. Meanwhile, the Congress leader posted a video showing a man carrying a BJP flag near PM Modi's convoy. The Congress leader shared the video and wrote, 'Identify with clothes, who are these people?'

Youth Congress unit president BV Srinivas shared the video from his Twitter handle. While some people are going to PM Modi's convoy and shouting slogans of Narendra Modi Zindabad and BJP Zindabad, the car in which PM Modi was riding as soon as he approached the people moved on. The Congress leader shared the video and wrote on Twitter, 'Alleged attempt to murder, by whom? Identify with little clothes, Modiji, who are these people?'

The United Kisan Morcha (SKM) had also issued a press release on Thursday terming the security lapses as fabricated. At the same time, the Morcha had said that it was the people who had taken the BJP flag and gone to the convoy. The morcha had written in a press release that the video of the spot makes it clear that the protesting farmers did not make any attempt to move towards PM Modi's convoy. Only a party saying "Narendra Modi Zindabad" had approached the convoy with the BJP flag raised. So the threat to PM Modi's life seems quite fabricated.

Who took the responsibility of blocking the path:-

On Thursday, Surjit Singh Phool, President, Kisan Sangathan BKU Revolutionary, thanked those who blocked the Prime Minister's path. He said other members of the BKU had also prevented BJP workers from attending PM Modi's rally. BKU revolutionary leader Surjit Singh Phool had released the video thanking the workers of the organisation. In this video, Surjit Singh says, "Today, in village Rattakhera, BKU revolutionary members blocked the road just 10-11 km away from Modi's rally, faced all kinds of difficulties, endured threats from BJP leaders, blocked the road, we evacuated the BJP people from the middle of the water. All the workers deserve congratulations on this.''

Now, two theories are coming up, on the one hand, the Congress and the Punjab government are saying that only BJP workers had approached the PM convoy. Even if they had arrived, who was responsible for removing them? On the one hand, BKU Krantikari is openly taking the responsibility of blocking PM Modi's path, while Congress leaders say that it was BJP workers who approached the convoy. Also, the video shared by B.V. Srinivas is from the time when the PM's convoy was running, not the place where the Prime Minister was stranded for 20 minutes. However, the issue is currently before the Supreme Court and a hearing has been held today. In such a situation, some facts will come out only after the investigation is over.
