Bangalore: Elections for Rajya Sabha seats are scheduled on June 19 in Karnataka. Karnataka Congress unit president DK Shivakumar has reacted to the support of Janata Dal (Secular) (JDS) leader HD Deve Gowda in the Rajya Sabha election. DK Shivakumar has said that, 'We have decided to field a candidate for Rajya Sabha. Our party leaders will decide whom the remaining Congress MLA will vote for.

Actually, the Congress had announced the name of its candidate on Friday for the Rajya Sabha elections in Karnataka. The Congress has decided to send senior leader Mallikarjun Kharge from Karnataka to Rajya Sabha. It is noteworthy that elections are to be held in four Rajya Sabha seats in Karnataka. According to the strength, a Congress seat can be easily removed. According to the number of MLAs, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) can win 2 seats.

Political equations will be different in the fourth seat of Rajya Sabha. If Congress and JDS come together then they can get this seat. There is a lot of speculation about support between the two parties. However, in the midst of all this, the election of Karnataka Rajya Sabha is becoming quite interesting.
