New Delhi: The factionalism in the Congress, which returned to power after 15 years in Madhya Pradesh, is getting deeper. Jyotiraditya Scindia, former MP from Guna, has also questioned the debt waiver, after former CM and brother of Congress veteran Digvijay Singh. Jyotiraditya Scindia admitted that the debt waiver promised by his government has not been fully fulfilled. Earlier, Digvijay Singh's brother Laxman Singh had said that former Congress President Rahul Gandhi should apologize to the farmers.

Jyotiraditya Scindia said that the debt waiver promised by the government has not been fulfilled. The farmers' debt of only Rs 50 thousand has been waived, whereas we promised to waive up to Rs 2 lakh. Therefore, the state government should work towards waiving the entire debt of the farmer.

Earlier last month, Congress MLA Laxman Singh, brother of veteran Congress leader Digvijay Singh, attacked his government and said that the promise of loan waiver of farmers has not been fulfilled. He also said that Rahul Gandhi should apologize to the farmers and tell how much more time it will take to forgive the loan.
