Bangalore: Former Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka and Congress leader Ji Parameshwar's difficulties seem to be increasing. On Thursday, the Income Tax Department raided their 30 locations, which continues even today. Authorities have so far recovered cash worth about Rs 4 crore from the raid. On the other hand, the Income Tax Department's team is also raiding the house of Anand, the son of G Parmeshwar's brother.

It is noteworthy that the Income Tax Department got information from intelligence sources that there are some irregularities in the medical college run by the trust related to G Parameshwara, which they have hidden most. In the raids conducted on Thursday, the Income Tax Department has recovered cash of Rs 4.52 crore. It is estimated that today this amount may increase even more. The raids were conducted on suspicion of tax evasion of crores of rupees related to NEET examination at the locations of former Deputy Chief Minister and his brother's son. It includes about 30 destinations in Karnataka and Rajasthan.

Let me tell you, H Gangadharay, father of G Parameshwara, who was the Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, founded the Siddhartha Group of Institutions 58 years ago, which is now run by his family. During the raid, the statement of G Parameshwara also came on Thursday. They said that they did not know about the raid, they do not even know where the Income Tax team is conducting the raids. Parameswar said that they have no problem with the team searching. If there is a mistake on their part, they will rectify it.
