New Delhi: After the meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC), senior Congress leader and lawyer by profession Kapil Sibal is constantly tweeting. On Wednesday, Sibal wrote in a tweet that, "When fighting for principles In life In politics In law Amongst social activists On social media platforms Opposition is often voluntary Support is often managed".

Congress started Damage Control. It has been reported from sources that the interim president of the party, Sonia Gandhi, has discussed over call with Ghulam Nabi Azad. Sonia has assured them that their concerns will be taken care of. Sibal and Ghulam Nabi were among the 23 leaders who wrote a letter to Sonia Gandhi demanding a comprehensive change in the party. In the CWC meeting, the leaders who wrote letters were accused of colluding with the BJP. This agitated both the leaders.

Disgruntled Congress leaders say that the letter was not against Sonia Gandhi, but was written to the party chief regarding the demand for reform in the party. They also say that the letter should not have leaked. On Tuesday morning, Sanjay Jha, a disgruntled and suspended leader of the party, tweeted "This is the beginning of an end".
