New Delhi: Congress is the party that gets infuriated when its President Sonia Gandhi's real Italian name, Antonio Maino, is mentioned, but PM Narendra Modi's old mother, who has no political connections even far and wide, is insulted. Similar misdeeds have been seen once again from the Congress party, when during the debate on 'Times Now Navbharat,' Congress spokesperson Mudit Agarwal while bringing PM Modi's mother in the middle, said that 'he sells his mother'.

Journalist and anchor Sushant Sinha shared a video of the debate on social media. In the caption, Sushant wrote, ''I was shocked when the Congress leader said "PM Narendra Modi sells his mother." I don't understand how one can say this for a mother. Women's respect for the Congress is at such a level that no one's mother should be spared?'' The debate during which the Congress leader made this indecent remark on PM Modi's mother was based on the ongoing infighting in the Congress in states like Punjab, Chhattisgarh and Uttarakhand. In the debate, the BJP spokesperson said that his party is proud that PM Modi sold tea and has reached this point after hard work. He then asked Congress spokesperson Mudit Agarwal what Sonia Gandhi had done for the party in her life to question a PM and his background.

In response, Mudit Agarwal of the Congress said that PM lies. He never sold tea. He is the kind of person who sells his mother on TV as well. Anchor Sushant Sinha objected to the remarks saying the Congress spokesperson was forgetting his dignity. PM so, no one can make such a comment for anyone's mother. He reminded Mudit Agarwal of his mistake and reminded him that if he does such things for PM Modi's mother, BJP spokespersons can also question him about Sonia Gandhi's past profession. However, even after repeated cautions by the anchor, the Congress spokesperson refused and his misbehaviour continued.
