Hazaribagh: An incident is coming to light from Jharkhand, where there was a delay in opening the VIP gate built in the toll plaza, and then the MLA got angry. The MLA got down from the vehicle and slapped the toll worker. The incident took place in Hazaribagh. The person who slapped is Umashankar Akela who is the Congress party MLA from Barhi in Hazaribagh. The case dates back to Thursday. CCTV footage of the incident is going viral. The name of the toll worker who became a victim of MLA's wrath is Ajay Yadav. So far, no complaint has been lodged with the police from either side regarding the case.  

According to the news received in connection with the same incident, MLA Umashankar Akela was going to Ranchi from Barhi. There is a Nagwa toll plaza in the middle. Although there is a separate gate for VIP entry here, for some reason, it was closed. There was a slight delay in opening the general gate. It is said that the MLA, who was enraged by this, entered the toll worker's office and slapped the employee. CCTV footage of the incident has also surfaced. It can be clearly seen in the footage that at first there is an argument between the toll worker and the MLA's security personnel. Due to this debate, there is also a little pushing. Suddenly, the MLA himself comes in and slaps the toll worker.  

The name of the toll worker who was slapped by the MLA is Ajay Yadav. Ajay is a resident of Nawadih in Padma block. He had not filed a case till the filing of this report. The MLA has clarified in this regard and said that when we asked to open the gate soon, the toll worker misbehaved and started arguing. At the same time, eyewitnesses present in the toll plaza at the time of the incident said that the MLA slapped the toll worker over a minor issue like a delay in opening the gate.
