At the same time, when asked what would be his economic policy when he got the chance to become Prime Minister, he said, 'I would like to move from a development-focused idea to a job-centric idea only. I would like to say that we need development, but we are going to do everything to advance production, job creation, and value addition. Apart from this, he said, 'If we look at our growth in the present times, then the type of relationship between our development and job creation should be between value addition and production, it is not so. Value addition leads the Chinese. I have not met any Chinese leader who tells me that I have problems with jobs. If I don't see the job number right next to it, for me, 9 percent of economic growth would have no meaning. '
At the same time, he accused the ruling party of completely taking over the institutional structure in the country, saying "responsible institutions are not providing the requisite cooperation to ensure fair political combat". Apart from this, when asked about the Congress's electoral failure and the strategy ahead, Rahul Gandhi said, "We are in a different situation today where those institutions which are not able to protect us. Institutions that have to cooperate for a fair political contest are no longer doing so. I said at the beginning of the lockdown that decentralization of power should be done ... But after a few months, the central government understood that by then the damage was done".
