New Delhi: Congress veteran and Lok Sabha MP Shashi Tharoor has targeted the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), without taking names. He has tweeted referring to the new variant of the coronavirus, Omicron, in which he has taunted PM Modi.
Tharoor has alleged in his tweet that the central government is weakening democracy by promoting polarization, hatred, bigotry. Shashi Tharoor wrote in a tweet that, 'O Mitro' is more dangerous than Omicron. We are measuring its subsequent repercussions on increasing polarization, hatred, bigotry, attacks on the Constitution and weakening of democracy. There is no 'mild variant' of this variant of the virus.
Omicron is a new variant of the coronavirus. At present, many countries including India are battling the third wave of Corona due to Omicron. Corona cases have increased rapidly in this variant.
