Patna: After the embarrassing performance in the Bihar Assembly elections, the Congress is not taking the name of the halt. Party leaders, former Union ministers and lawyers by profession are leaving no stone unturned to target Kapil Sibal. Meanwhile, there is also an increasing emphasis in the party that the Congress should contest on a strong seat in the alliance.
Parliamentarian party leader in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary attacked Kapil Sibal, saying that he looked very worried about the need of introspection for Congress party and introspection, but we did not even face him in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat elections. Earlier, CM Ashok Gehlot, Tariq Anwar and Salman Khurshid have also targeted Sibal.
There is also a demand within the Congress that one should contest only his strong seat in the coalition. Party leaders believe that in an attempt to contest more seats in the coalition, many take such seats, on which there is little chance of winning. Therefore, in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu, the party should field candidates on its own strong seat.
