New Delhi: The response of former Jammu and Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah has come on behalf of Union Home Minister Amit Shah's statement that the group is a gangster. Talking to a private news channel, Abdullah said that the statement of the Home Minister is very sad and unfortunate. I do not think he has read the history of Farooq Abdullah.

Farooq further said, "I have defended my country on many forums. I cannot be anti-national. The only problem of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who is not with them is anti-national and the one who is in the BJP is a patriot. The secret is not just in relation to Kashmir Valley or Muslims'. On the flagged statement of PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti, Farooq Abdullah said, 'We have kept the flag high. Hundreds of my party workers have died. What did they die for? for India.'

Abdullah replied over trust issue between Delhi and Kashmir that he tried to build trust? We were closed. Today, we are anti-nationals. We stand with India, we will stand with India. Regarding the Congress party, Abdullah said that Amit Shah has tried to put the Congress in a corner. It is a nationalist party. Congress is clear that Article 370 should be restored, the status of the state should be given.
