Amritsar: There has been a flutter in Congress after the results of the assembly elections in Panjab came out. All the leaders are blaming each other for this shameful defeat. So the internal feud in the party has increased. Former state president and party veteran Sunil Jakhar has strongly criticised the decision to declare Charanjit Singh Channi as the CM face. At the same time, Jakhar has said that a Congress leader had called Charanjit Singh Channi an asset for the party.

Sunil Jakhar tweeted, "Property, are you kidding. It is a matter of fact that Channi was not declared a national treasure." Sunil Jakhar said that those who are advocating Channi may be an asset to them. But Channi is nothing more than a burden on the party," Jakhar said, adding that Channi's greed has damaged the party and itself. Earlier, Congress Lok Sabha MP Ravniti Singh Bittu had attacked Congress state unit president Navjot Singh Sidhu. He even called Sidhu a suicide bomber. Bittu had said Sidhu was an outsider who entered the party and was responsible for the defeat. Bittu even said that it is not the workers, but the big leaders who are responsible for the party's defeat.

The Congress Working Committee (CWC) brainstormed on the shameful defeat in the party in five states. In it, former Congress president Rahul Gandhi said that we are still contesting elections in the traditional way. We have to create a new strategy for each state. At the same time, former Union minister and veteran Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said that the Congress should find out the possible alliance partners and decide the strategy of the alliance.
