New Delhi: Congress MP Rajni Patil has been suspended for the remainder of the current budget session by Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar. Actually, the Congress MP had video recorded the proceedings of the House. Expressing strong displeasure over the matter, Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar said that Rajni Ashokrao Patil was found recording the proceedings in the House. This matter is very serious.

He said that in the public domain today, on Twitter, a video related to the proceedings of this House was made viral. I took it seriously and did all that was necessary. As a matter of principle and to maintain the sanctity of the Parliament, the involvement of any outside agency cannot be sought. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has said that the entire matter will be investigated by the Committee of Privileges and Dr. Rajni Ashokrao Patil is suspended for the current session till we receive the report of the Committee of Privileges for the consideration of this respected House.

At the same time, the reaction of Congress MP Rajni Patel has also come to the fore on this matter. He has said that I did not do any such thing, even after that I was given a "hanging sentence". I come from a family of freedom fighters, and my culture doesn't allow me to violate the law. The Congress MP further said that we stopped the reply of PM Narendra Modi repeatedly yesterday, which is why he is furious. This is a program made by him.
