New Delhi: On Sunday, Congress leaders held a press conference on the new education policy recently released by the Modi government of the Center. In this, party spokesperson Randeep Surjewala, MM Pallam Raju, and Prof. Rajiv Gowda joined. In the press conference, Surjewala said that after a gap of 6 years, the 2020 education policy has been issued without consulting. This policy has not yet been uploaded on the official website of the Ministry of Education.

In the press talk, Randeep Surjewala has said that we have some objections to the timing of the new education policy. He has said that there is a great crisis in the country and many institutions have been opened without any advice. The government should tell when the new education policy will be debated in Parliament. In the meeting, former HRD Minister Pallam Raju said that the tasks of the time of UPA have been completely ignored in the new education policy.

The right to education law brought by the UPA government was discussed everywhere, even in Parliament, there was a long debate on it. What will be the roadmap of the government to implement the new education policy, it is absolutely missing and there is no mention of it. Pallam Raju said, 'We ask the government what is the roadmap of the new education policy and how the resources will be allocated to implement it.'
