Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi and party's national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi will reach Gujarat to join it. It is noteworthy that Mahatma Gandhi started the Dandi March on 12 March 1930, which ended on 6 April 1930. This year, 90 years are being completed on the historic Dandi March of Mahatma Gandhi. The yatra will start from Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad and continue till 6 April. It will cover a journey of 386 km in 27 days. Congress interim presidents Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi will also take part in this 27-day padayatra.
