During this, he said, "It is a matter of deep concern how some young women are becoming ignorant of self-respect, respect, culture, ethos. Doing pornographic activities on video. I am not blaming anyone, but this is the downfall of society." Regarding the protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), he said that protests have been going on for a few days and women are being kept in the front line and shouting provocative slogans. We should be complaining about which direction this society is going. Ghosh said that these women could be 'victims of street violence' if they continued to behave in this manner.
