New Delhi: Congress party spokesperson Supriya Srinet used highly abusive language during a live debate on a news channel. She was having an argument with BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra on a private news channel show during which the incident took place. Meanwhile, Supriya Srinet of the Congress told Sambit Patra, "You are two cowrie dirty drain worms. Drain bugs! Shut up the drain worm, what are you saying?"

Supriya Srinet again used the word 'drain worms' for the BJP national spokesperson 2 times even after the show was interrupted by the anchor. She said during the debate that "These sahebs (Sambit Patra) will not cooperate in the investigation as they have to jump from one channel to another. If that is to be done, be a part of the investigation process. Go, answer the police".

Supriya Srinet further said, 'You will sit here and do 'Galcho#'. Sit here and 'chat'. On this, Sambit Patra said that he jump from one channel to another, but do she crawl like snakes? He asked 'if you crawl like a snake'. On this, Supriya said that she does not lie. Sambit Patra said, "Don't crawl like a serpent". There was a heated argument between the two spokespersons.
