New Delhi: The Congress has become aggressive against the Narendra Modi government at the Centre over the ongoing border dispute and security with China and has once again attacked the issue. The Congress has alleged that China has built several villages near Doklam and occupied about 100 square kilometres. But the Narendra Modi government at the Centre is silent and has to respond to it.
Congress spokesperson Prof Gaurav Vallabh today hit out at the Modi government at the Centre saying the Modi government's unforgivable and shameless agreement with the country's "national security" and "territorial integrity" has once again been exposed. He said the PM and the Defence Minister have underestimated the amazing valour and courage of our armed forces combating Chinese infiltration and aggression with indomitable courage and sacrifice.
The Congress spokesperson said the new satellite photos are referring to Chinese military activities that several Chinese villages have reportedly been constructed in Bhutanese territory on its behalf over the past year. The alleged construction is seen spread over several villages in an area of about 100 sq km (25,000 acres). This construction in villages has been done between May 2020 and November 2021.
