With this, assembly elections are also proposed in UP next year. In view of this, Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait has tried to corner the Central Government.

Tikait, who arrived in Garh Mukteshwar to attend the Kartik Mela, has lashed out at the BJP. He said it was a mistake to choose the BJP, the people of Uttar Pradesh should destroy the lotus flower. Tikait also gave the slogan 'Ek Bhool, Kamal Ka Phool.' Tikait, who reached the Karthik fair with his supporters, used the stage made for the ceremony in the fair to pacify his political greed. He gave a provocative speech from the stage.
When asked why he was using Kartik Mela to brighten up his politics, he said, 'Where else will I talk about politics? If I have made a political statement, you are free to file a case against me. If no one wants to listen to political statements, why are they coming to our meetings?' Kartik Mela is a very famous fair in which a large number of people from western Uttar Pradesh reach.
