Heavy rainfall in Hyderabad and surrounding areas brings a lot of trouble. On Tuesday, floods occurred in many areas due to heavy water. As a result, the power supply was stalled within the feeder. People are sick of floodwaters and heavy floodwaters in to the cellars of apartments. Phanikumar (35) of Tenali died on the spot after breaking current wires in Mallapur.

Continuous power cuts have caused a lot of trouble for hospitals and corporate sector to work. Electricity supply was interrupted in the area of about 100 feeders, including Nims and Mehidipatnam. In some places the branches of the trees were broken and the jumpers were cut off in others. The inslaters failed, and the wires were broken as the Electric poles fell. Many colonies were in darkness all day long. In some places, supply was restored immediately, but many areas remained in the dark.

Not only this, these local facilities and residents are also suffering due to heavy rain. The streetlights were also not lighted in addition to the flood in the streets and the motorists had trouble. The authorities have stopped the power supply in the areas of the area as the flood water swelled into the low-lying areas. Electricity supply was stopped in 12 substations in Hayatnagar. Power supply was also stalled in Rajendranagar and Kothi.
