Corona: Air India aircraft reached Mumbai with Indians stranded in Iran

New Delhi: A plane carrying Indians from Iran badly affected by Coronavirus has reached Mumbai on Friday afternoon. Iran is among the countries most affected by Coronavirus and the government is constantly working to bring back the stranded Indians. No information has yet been received on how many people are on board the plane of 'Iran Air'. The official said that the aircraft landed at Mumbai Airport at around 12: 08 minutes.

Another official said that these passengers will be taken by Air India aircraft to Jaisalmer. Army spokesman (Rajasthan) Colonel Somit Ghosh said that the first team of about 120 Indians to be brought from Iran will reach Jaisalmer on Friday. He informed that Air India aircraft carrying about 120 Indians from Iran will reach Jaisalmer on 13 March. They will be kept in a separate camp prepared by the army at Jaisalmer. Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar said on Thursday that more than 6000 Indians were stranded in various provinces of Iran.
